Greendale Dance Academy

 

Greendale Dance Academy was established by Melissa (Comeau) Singley in 1994 in the basement of Greendale People's Church. The studio was comprised of 45 students, one assistant teacher and Miss Melissa. At the time, Melissa was also coaching the award winning Greendale People's Church Cheerleading squad. Two years later, the studio grew enough to move to it's current location at 15 Ararat Street, conveniently located between West Boylston and Holden. Since then, the studio has undergone major construction and now is made up of two dance rooms, an administrative office and a waiting area. The studio now employs an office manager, 7 teachers, several assistant teachers and introduces over 350 students to the love of dance. While we have grown in "leaps and bounds", the studio continues to allow the average family affordable rates so that everyone can enjoy the world of dance. Our philosophy is that "an $80 costume won't make a better dancer." Our classes are taught in a serious and professional manner, while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere where students can progress at their own rate.
