Peridance will be moving to our new permanent location in the Fall/Winter of 2008. Check our main website for current information at http://www.Peridance.com
Home The Peridance Center, temporarily located at 890 Broadway, 6th Floor (at 19th Street), New York City, offers a broad curriculum of technique classes in ballet and modern at all levels as well as workshops in more specialized areas of dance including choreography, music, notation, repertory, pointe, performance skills and more. These workshops augment technique classes and give students the opportunity to explore subjects otherwise unavailable outside of a university program.
From the traditional to the latest evolving styles and approaches to modern dance, the Peridance Center provides access to a strong and eclectic guest faculty. Boasting a roster which includes Yuriko, Doug Elkins, Kevin Wynn, Megan Williams, Elisa Monte and others, students can select from a rich cluster of progressive modern dance artists. Long term affiliations with eminent companies such as Jennifer Muller/The Works and Donald Byrd / The Group enrich day to day study at the Peridance Center as well as provide annual summer workshops open to students and professionals alike.
