Based on the original choreography by Marius Petipa and Leon Ivanov, CCB's The Nutcracker captures the enchantment and magic of this timeless holiday favorite.
Featuring magic tricks, dazzling sets and lavish costumes, this production of The Nutcracker highlights company members, acclaimed guest artists, and young dancers from throughout California.
First presented in 2004, Coast City Ballet's The Nutcracker has since then become one of the most beloved and entertaining productions in Southern California.
The delightful story, the joyful dancing, and Tchaikovsky's enduring music captivate children and adults alike.
Preview Night* specially designed to introduce children and teens to the beauty of classical ballet will be exclusively presented for School Groups and Scout Troops on Friday, December 21st.
Experience the Magic of Dance, travel with Clara and her Prince to the Kingdom of the Sugarplum Fairy and marvel in the excitement of this fairy tale ballet.
