Home ClassesSalsa:
Salsa is the dance that captured the attention of America in the 1940's, as we became fascinated with the exciting rhythms of the Tumbao, Clave, and compilation of Latin instruments. Salsa is the most popular and addictive Latin dance here at Casa Salsa. We celebrate the beauty of Salsa through connection with the music and body movement. Students learn to express themselves through the rhythm of the music. Salsa is a great way to interact with others and have fun.
Bachata:
Bachata originates from the Dominican Republic. This fun and sexy dance is celebrated in just about every night club in South Florida. If you have ever seen great Bachata dancers and said "I should be doing that," here is your chance. Casa Salsa is the 1st and only dance studio that has regularly scheduled Bachata classes. So, come out and have some fun with us, and learn an awesome dance!
Argentine Tango:
The beauty of Argentine Tango is expressed through the latest and sexiest dance moves with roots that originated mainly in Argentina. It's a dramatic dance known as the "dancers dance." With all its staccato movements, Tango greatly improves a mans lead and a women's ability to follow. This dance will help you develop a strong feeling for music.
Zumba:
Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves. The various dance combinations allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries and achieve long-term health benefits. This is why Zumba is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN & EASY TO DO." Zumba is not only great for the body, but also great for the mind. It is a "feel-happy" workout!
Bellydance:
Bellydancing originated in the Middle East and is also known as Oriental dance. It is a style of its own that is smooth, creative, and an empowering art form for women. Belly dance comes from traditional associations with religious and erotic elements. Oriental dance is uniquely designed for the female body using abdominal muscles, chest movements, and hip accentuations.
Hip-Hop:
Hip hop is one of today's hottest dance styles, highly influenced by some of today's hottest choreographers, including our very own, Pablo Malco. This dance is expressed through many movements, both smooth and pronounced. Hip hop is a high energy dance that helps build strength, stamina, coordination, and muscle memory. Let Casa Salsa help you bring out your own style and personality in your dancing.
Percussion:
Casa Salsa is the 1st and ONLY dance studio to offer this specialty class. In this class you will learn how to play salsa rhythms with Clave, Conga, Timbale, and Bongo. This is hands down the ultimate way to learn to connect with music. This class is by pre-registration ONLY.

Paula Picon is Casa Salsa's certified Zumba instructor® , with a diverse professional background in the US, Argentina and Chile. Paula loves to dance since she learned to walk, and when you see her moving you have no doubt about it! Although she got her Engineering degree in Chile she's always been connected to physical activities, so in between classes she managed to become the Chilean champion of university aerobics, and got the second place in duos on the same competition. It was right after graduating when she decided to shift her career towards her true passions: dancing and fitness. That's when she started to enhance her classes to the point of becoming a powerful source of energy for the body and soul. That enthusiasm let her be part of many fitness and dancing events, such as a Zumba ® class for thousands of people during 2007's "Calle 8 Festival", and demos on TV shows like Channel 41's "Calando Fuerte". If you really want to feel and look better, you have to experience a class with Paula! (if you're up to the challenge) : )
