The Ballet Conservatory was established since 1979 and is located in the Southbay area of San Diego, Ca. Its' facility presents an atmosphere of welcome and is inviting to enthusiastic young talent to express them self with other members in a well maintained environment.
The Ballet Conservatory meets rigid requirements every year to maintain its membership into the Royal Academy of Dancing and the Imperial Society of Dancing Teachers from London, England. The academy's purpose is to continually raise the standard of ballet technique and training through an educational and yearly examination system for all Royal Academy Schools' Students and teachers.
Ballet is a vigorous, healthful undertaking that provides rare enjoyment while conditioning and disciplining the body and the mind. Although it is ideal to begin as a child, ballet is often studied and enjoyed by adults. Whether the student wishes a serious career or simply experience the joy of dance, classes in ballet can add an important dimension to one's life, especially when taught by knowledgeable professionals. The Ballet Conservatory offers 11 levels of instruction, ranging from Preprimary (3 year olds) through Intermediate, Advanced and Adult Classes. Most students complete each level and advance yearly upon passing the Royal Academy examinations. Classes give each student highly individualized placement and concentration of of study. Classed are strictly limited to assure individual attention.
