David Sarul (aka: Coast to Coast Disco Dave} has been teaching and studying New York Style Hustle dancing for over 27 years!
He is known for his expertise in floor dance material, Lead and Followers leg work and arm styling and Floor Dance Embelishments to Enhance the Dance!
David travels from Coast to Coast teaching at various Events, Colleges, Ballrooms and Latin Dance Studios and Night Clubs across the USA, bringing his creative knowledge of Hustle Dance to Dance entusiasts all over the country!
David Sarul was also one of the original co-event Directors and Sponsors of The Hustle U.S.A. Dance Championships which was held anually in New York/New Jersey.

Hustle History USA by Disco Dave Sarul; In the mid 1970's a partner style dance phenomenon took the country by surprise! The Dance went by many names: Spanish Hustle, Latin Hustle, New York Street Hustle and New York Style Hustle. In New York City the dancing enthusiasts ended up simply calling it the Hustle!
One anecdote for told that group of Young Puerto Ricans attended various Mambo night spots, Salsa Clubs, Ballrooms and Studio dance parties that inspired the creation of spectacular new dance!
Its evolution was also influenced by the changing fashions in "Disco" music varied by Afro, Latin, and European moods and rhythms from slow to medium to high energy tempos!
Hustle, thru the test of time has always maintained its own un-mistakable floor dance look which includes elements of circular slotted, traveling moves, diagnal and elptical rotation, visual lead and follow and side by sides which has given the dance its dynamic, dazzling, and creative look of beauty in the art of floor dance movement!

Plenty of parking across the street, inside the Plaza between Market and Cafe, on the street in front of Dance Academy.
Directions: coming from Beachcities 710 North toward Pasadena exit Cesar Chavez, turn left and see Dance Academy, coming from West take 10 or 101 Fwy, get on 60 Pomona to 710 North Pasadena, exit on Cesar Chavez, turn right, after signal light Dance Academy is on your left, coming from East, you can take 10, 60, 91, 105 Fwy and use the Map for better orientation.
