Born and raised in El Salvador, Ronald Martinez started dancing at the very young age of 6. Taught by his grandmother, afternoons were spent learning the steps of El Salvador's traditional dance, Cumbia. These steps were soon followed by the Waltz, Merengue, Boleros and Cha Cha.

His love of Salsa followed him all the way to Vancouver, British Columbia where family and friends encouraged him to open his own studio.

For the last 10 years, Ronald has taught and performed in various parts of Canada, USA and Mexico.

He is now teamed with partner Sanaa Martinez, who's belldance background has added a unique sensuality to thier dancing style.

Together they teach, choreograph and perform various Latin dances as well as run their own studio in Vancouver British Columbia.
